I am starting my new website to fill with entries from my life. I'm aiming to capture my art and work I do here. I'd like for this to be a place where I can document progress on various projects I am working on such as electronic art projects, documenting my thoughts on drawings and paintings, device modding, vending events, and events. I'm currently remembering and learning how to use HTML and CSS and it has been really fun so far. It's like I get to kill one million birds with one stone by making this website. Getting to organize everything in a way where I have complete agency over customization. It's my own little pocket of the internet and I'm excited to share my life with you. Coming up next year, I'm going to be in a thesis show and I'm going to expand the idea of my character Wren, who I've been drawing for a couple years now. Learning how to paint and draw and use digital tools is fun, but getting to actually apply those skills to express my own ideas is even more exciting. I'm not used to my work being so shared and visible in a place like a gallery as it once was a long time ago. So, I'm looking forward to coming back and sharing my work publically again. I want to be a part of exhibitions and galleries. I want my stickers, prints, keychains, zines, and fashion accessories to be sold. I want to create more and I want other people to understand me through my art. I want other people to feel seen through the work I create and know that they are not alone in their experiences. I want my artwork to be visually appealing and enjoyable and aesthetically beautiful and exciting. I want to show my skills and what I am capable of. I want to be recognized for these things.
After I graduate, I want to work in a makerspace where I can get paid and I can also have access to the tools to fabricate more artworks. I want to learn about fabrication tools more than I already know about 3D printing and axis cutting. I'm going to be taking bronze casting and welding at my college next semester as I graduate and I'm looking forward to the things I can learn.
Right now, I'm finally learning how to paint, which is something I've wanted to do for a very long time. I want to become the most powerful illustrator and painter. It feels good to make something and to be proud of it. This page will only become more powerful along with me the more I learn and grow.
My happiness is when my imagination becomes reality.
